Europe Italie Sardaigne Bienvenus Une galerie de céramiques, ces œuvres de Giuseppe Deiana, où la tradition et l'imagination se fondent dans un mélange extrêmement équilibré.
Ainsi nous nous trouvons devant des vases, des plats, des chandeliers et d'autres objets de la vie quotidienne, où la sobriété connue de la tradition de la Sardaigne laisse place à des formes et des décorations qui confèrent légèreté et élégance aussi à l'objet le plus humble, où les couleurs pastel donnent presque une nouvelle jeunesse à ces fragments de vie, qui s'animent d'une nouvelle vivacité.
Mais l'adresse de Giuseppe ne s'arrête pas ici, car voilà que, prépondérant, son âme fantastique vient dehors et par ses mains naissent des œuvres au goût ensemble mythique et ethnique.
Nous nous trouvons ainsi à admirer des vases où le mythe de Janus Bifronte s'enrichit de particuliers fantastiques qui font nous penser à des civilisations disparues depuis longtemps, comme si dans notre inconscient collectif soient restées gravées les mémoires des pères; un goût pour l'archaïque, la recherche de motifs primitifs et essentiels qui font de chaque pièce, une histoire unique.
Les mêmes motifs que nous retrouvons dans les masques, les visages grotesques, transfigurés par une humanité archaïque, dans les navires guerriers qui vont laisser nos côtes et s'aventurer pour des littoraux où aucun personne n'a jamais mis pied. Un univers à découvrir, celui-ci de Giuseppe Deiana, où la couleur en bois de la céramique vient vivifiée des décorations en or et bronze ou les couleurs vertes et turquoises qui renvoient aux mers intactes...
Au-delà du professionnalisme, il transparaît en Giuseppe une âme joyeuse qui sait apprécier et réinventer les formes de vie qui nous entourent; ses mains gravent de l'argile la beauté de la nature: des papillons, des tortues et des hiboux, animés par des couleurs fantastiques, ils envahissent les murs et les fenêtres, en nous faisant savourer ainsi le goût du conte de fées et de la légende.

Ci troviamo così di fronte a vasi, piatti, portacandele e altri oggetti della vita quotidiana, dove la nota sobrietà della tradizione sarda, lascia spazio a forme e decorazioni che conferiscono leggerezza ed eleganza anche all'oggetto più umile, dove i colori pastello infondono quasi una nuova giovinezza a questi frammenti di vita, che si animano di nuova vivacità.
Ma l'abilità di Giuseppe non si ferma qui, poiché ecco che, preponderante, viene fuori il suo animo fantastico e dalle sue mani nascono opere dal sapore mitico ed etnico insieme.
Ci troviamo così ad ammirare vasi dove il mito di Giano Bifronte si arricchisce di particolari fantastici che ci fanno pensare a civiltà scomparse da tempo, come se nel nostro inconscio collettivo siano rimaste impresse le memorie dei padri; un gusto per l'arcaico, la ricerca di motivi primitivi ed essenziali che fanno di ogni pezzo, una storia a sé stante.
Gli stessi motivi che ritroviamo nelle maschere, volti grotteschi, trasfigurati da un'umanità primordiale, nelle navi guerriere che stanno per lasciare le nostre coste e avventurarsi per lidi dove nessun uomo ha messo mai piede. Un universo da scoprire, questo di Giuseppe Deiana, dove il colore ligneo della ceramica viene vivacizzato dalle decorazioni in oro e bronzo, o i verdi e i turchesi che rimandano ai mari incontaminati...
Oltre alla professionalità, traspare in Giuseppe un'anima ludica che sa apprezzare e reinventare le forme di vita che ci circondano; le sue mani imprimono nell'argilla la bellezza della natura: farfalle, tartarughe e gufi, animati da fantastici colori, invadono pareti e finestre, facendoci assaporare così il gusto della fiaba e della leggenda.
Un uomo quindi, all'insegna del nostro tempo, dove il passato e il futuro vanno alla ricerca di una identità nuova, eclettica, un percorso che va oltre i limiti e i confini della terra dove è nato: la Sardegna. Lidia e Fonte - 1999 |

Europe Italy Sardinia Welcome A ceramics gallery, these works of Joseph Deiana, where the tradition and the imagination are melted in an extremely balanced mélange.

An universe to be discovered, this of Joseph Deiana, where the wooden color of the ceramics comes is made vivified from the decorations in gold and bronze or the greens and turquoises that postpone to the uncontaminated seas...
Besides the professionalism, it shines through in Joseph a playful soul that knows how to appreciate and to again invent the forms of life that surround us; its hands engrave in the clay the beauty of the nature: butterflies, turtle and owls, animated by fantastic colors, they invade walls and windows, making us taste so the taste of the fable and the legend.
