Languages that gives an identity and broadcast communicationThe broadcasting station Radio Press of Cagliari has organized the Seminar for Monday February 21 2000, with the support of the European Union (U.E. Commission DG X) and with the patronage of the Department to the public education, Show and Culture of the Region Sardinia. Appointment beginning from 5 pm near the Auditorium of the Regional Councillorship to the public education, in the street Rome 253, to Cagliari. The seminar comes at the end of the first cycle of news-bulletins in language campidanese (financed by the Region through the law 26) and to the beginning of the second cycle of Mediterradio, the transmission that puts in connection Radio Press and Radio Corse Frequenza Mora and Radio Flash of Livorno. The experience of the radio corsa (the territorial public service of Radio France, what from 1984 it also inserts in the planning programs and news-bulletins in Corse language) it will be to the center of the attention, thanks to the presence of the journalist Petru Mari (editor for the information in language "CORSA" of "Radio Corse Frequenza Mora" and inventor of the project Mediterradio) and Ghjacomu Thiers, society-language of the University of Corte, author of different searches on the use of the language raced in the means of communication. They will also bring their experience the editors and the speakers of Radio Press, what from last 26 April they propose in the evening band of listening three editions of the news-bulletin in language "campidanese". During the evening proposal will also come to the listening an edition of the news-bulletin in language "corsa". The seminar turns to the operators of the communication, to the journalists and the protagonists of the debate on the language and the culture in Sardinia.
