Environment: Mountain Arcosu is found in the district of the mountains of the Sulcis, and it is a magnificent Mediterranean forest to
Holm-oak (Quercus ilex) and Cork-oak (Quercus suber), with a stain rich in different kind and from a sharp pain coast vegetation; particularly important environment also for the wealth and his bio-difference, it entertains important kinds of the flora and the Sardinian fauna.
The territory introduces a varied morphology, characterized from long and steep valleys (great channels) in which, during the winter and spring period, they flow some streams whose brought it is almost entirely reduced during the summer.
The geologic conformation is varied, as its morphology is different, from the hill up to the greatest reliefs that overcome the thousand meters high.

How to reach the oasis: In Sardinia, Common of Mores (province of Sassari). Road Provincial Chilivani-Mores, alternative for Ardara, Place Tola; entry Oasis to around 1 kms.
Environment: Environment typical of the steppes, constituted by lawns, pastures, cultivated fields and true steppes.
Flora and fauna: The typical flora is constituted by numerous kinds of graminaceouses, among which the flax of the fairies (Stipa capensis), in partnership to a lot of other meadow kinds that the steppe in spring:
Asphodel microcarpus, Thistle mariano, Dock and varied kinds of wild Orchids. This particular environment constitutes the ideal habitat for the meadow Chicken, (symbol of the oasis) with the third European population in order of importance.
The avifauna is also represented by the Stone curlew - Stone plover (Burhinus oedicnemus), from the white Stork, from the Bee-eater (Merops apiaster), and from other kinds what:
Corn bunting (Emberiza calandra lark), Calandra lark (Melanocorypha calandra lark) and Owl (Carine noctua).
The mammals that populate these territories are almost all endemic subspecies, as, for instance, the Sardinian Hare and the Sardinian Weasel, and among the amphibians the Sardinian tree frog.
