Le sujet de la peinture a été repris réalisé par un dessin au charbon d'Albrecht Dürer
(dimensions en centimètres 42,1 x 30,3).
La datation semble remonter au 1514. dans le dessin l'inscription suivante paraît:
"celle-ci est la mère d'Albrecht Dürer il avait 63 ans"
une autre phrase a successivement été ajoutée écrite avec l'encre "et il mourut avant en 1514 le mardi de la passion."
A. Dürer est né le 21 mai de 1471, fils d'Albrecht Dürer et Barbara Holper.
Dürer après avoir appris du père l'art de l'orfèvrerie même au 1486,
il se rend près du maître Michael Wolgemut où pour trois ans comme apprenti travaille pour apprendre l'art de la peinture.
Ensuite, pour quatre ans il voyage à l'étranger, probablement pour acquérir nouveaux horizons artistiques,
en 1494 il revient à Nuremberg où il épouse Agnese la fille de Hans Frei.
Son maître M. Wolgemut a été chef de l'école de Nuremberg à la fin du 1400.
A. Dürer il meurt le 6 avril de 1528, probablement à cause d'une maladie vénérienne, pendant qu'il préparait le grand traité sur les proportions du corps humain.

che un dominio internet sia risolto nel suo indirizzo IP (filtraggio del DNS).
