Palais anciens de ParisQuartier de Saint Germain des Près. Les immeubles anciens de Paris sur la Seine fascinent. Les architectes ont fait de Paris leur champ de bataille: la revanche de l'imagination, briques rouges et décorations, ardoise, noir et gris avec des particuliers dorés. Le lis de la France est un des symboles plusieurs utilisé pour décorer les murs extérieurs des palais ou les chambres des appartements peut-être. Les Palais des lignes sobres et élégantes, assemblages de couleur et fenêtres élancées. Dans le 13° siècle les marécages qui constituaient ce qui aujourd'hui est le quartier Marais ont été bonifiés et dans la même période l'université de la Sorbonne a été inaugurée. Mais il est dans la période de la Renaissance, au 16° siècle, qu'elle est commencée la vraie expansion architecturale de Paris. À Voir et à VisiterForum des Halles est situé au centre de la ville, où un temps ils étaient situés les vieux marchés de Paris: entre le Musée du Louvre, la Banque de France et Le Centre G. Gli architetti hanno fatto di Parigi il loro campo di battaglia: la rivincita della fantasia, mattoni rossi e decorazioni, ardesia, neri e grigi con particolari dorati. Il giglio di Francia è forse uno dei simboli più utilizzati per decorare le pareti esterne dei palazzi o le camere degli appartamenti. Palazzi dalle linee sobrie ed eleganti, accostamenti di colore e finestre slanciate.
Nel 13° secolo gli acquitrini che costituivano quello che oggi è il quartiere Marais sono stati bonificati e nello stesso periodo è stata inaugurata l'università della Sorbona. Ma è nel periodo del Rinascimento, nel 16° secolo, che è iniziata la vera espansione architettonica di Parigi.
